From the top view I have found a group of mushrooms that look the same.

Do they have dark brown gills underneath the cap? I've heard these are prize choice and edible, so I am trying to see if the ones I found should be enjoyed or left to nature. Are there any poisonous look alikes?

Hi,Yes, they have brown gills. In California, there are four other species of Agaricus, with brown gills, that make people sick. None are deadly, but they can make for a terrible night. Recovery takes about a day.
